Enable the Relay integration with Toast POS to offer delivery without hiring your fleet of drivers. Restaurants like yours can focus on their best work without stressing delivery details. Relay integrates with restaurants' Toast online orders and third-party delivery orders to dispatch to delivery drivers. Restaurants can manually enter orders they receive by phone or in-person to Relay.

Enable Relay With Toast
To enable Relay with Toast, log into Toast Web and navigate to Integrations > Integrations management > Browse & purchase integrations.
Enter Relay in the Search field and select Add Now.
Confirm if you have a contract with Relay or select Sign up here.
Review the data scope visibility terms and conditions and select Confirm to accept. For more information, see the Data Scope Visibility article.
Use Relay With Toast POS
After adding the Relay integration through Toast Partner Integrations, you can set up a new account or use an existing one to link to Toast.
The Relay application is a website accessible at admin.relay.delivery. Once logged in, it will look like the following:
Your restaurant will show across the top of the screen, and all your orders will be on the dashboard.
Relay can handle not only Toast online orders (shown with a "T" above) but also phone orders and third-party application orders (in place of their drivers).
Note: Please contact your representative at Relay to inquire about onboarding third-party applications.
When an order is placed via Toast online ordering or elsewhere, it automatically populates in the Preparing column. Mark orders as ready for pickup by moving them to the Ready column; This will dispatch a driver within five minutes. When the driver arrives, the order automatically moves into the Pickup column, and the driver is traceable by both the restaurant and the customer until the order is completed.
For phone or catering orders, select the New Order button in green to manually enter a delivery address for a Relay courier to fulfill the order. If the order is paid by credit card, please take those details directly from the customer to enter into your Toast POS. If the order is paid by cash, you can select CASH in Relay, where the driver will keep the payment, but Relay will credit you the order amount in your weekly billing.
Troubleshooting and Support for the Relay Integration
For any live order issues when using the Relay integration, direct support is available in the Relay app.
To access support, select the order and then select Send a message about this order
Enter details about the issue you are experiencing in the message field provided.
The Relay team will respond via chat within one to two minutes. Access the chat by selecting the speech bubble icon at the top of the screen.
