Hardware Network Connection Overview
All Toast hardware can be categorized into two main types: stationary and handheld devices.
Stationary device - a Toast device that remains in a single spot in the restaurant.
Handheld device - a Toast device that can function while being carried around the restaurant.
Each type requires a different kind of networking connection (hard-wired or wireless) to provide access to the internet and cloud services.
