Dining Option Bonus Overview
The Dining Option Bonus allows you to offer extra points to your guests if they order online or order delivery or takeout. This feature can help drive guests to order through the platforms that benefit your restaurant most!
Here are some ways you can use this feature to reward guests for their loyalty:
Offer double points when guests order online directly through Toast to encourage direct orders vs. third-party delivery.
Offer double points when guests order takeout to cut back on delivery fees.
Offer double points when dine-in reopens to encourage guests to come to dine in.
Offer double points for curbside pickup to encourage keeping safe.
Use social media and email to promote dining bonus points. For example: Earn double points through our rewards program when you order direct (link to your online ordering page).
Dining Option Bonus Setup
Log in to Toast Web. Using the left-hand navigation panel, select Marketing > Loyalty > Loyalty settings.
From the Bonus points and perks section, select Dining Option Bonus.
Select Bonus amount (double or triple).
Select Order source (where the guest orders from). You may select Any from the drop-down.
Select Behavior (how the guest orders). You may select Any from the drop-down.
You may also specify if you would like to encourage guests to place scheduled orders by selecting Only reward scheduled orders.
Select Save.
