Answer
You can find check details, including which payments were applied and by whom, using the Orders report in Toast Web:
In Toast Web, navigate to Reports > Sales > Orders.
Use the report filters to find the check in question. Select the check to open the Order Details report.
At the bottom of the Order Details window, you'll see detailed payment information. This will show you what type of payments were applied, the time they were applied, and the name of the person who applied the payment.
