The essence of the TAN platform is matching your client's needs with the relevant agent(s). TAN reduces the phone calls and emails you need to make to connect with agents who have what your client is looking for and allows you to capture knowledge that might only be in other agents' heads.

Connect With Other Top Agents: Using TAN's Homepage
When you first sign into TAN, you'll go to the homepage:
On the homepage, you'll see three choices:
Post a Buyer Need
Post a Property
Broadcast a Message
Here's how to use each of these options:
1. Post a Property
If you're working with a seller, you'll click "Post a Property." When you do, you'll have two choices:
Broadcast a Property
The property is emailed to all TAN members in the chapter where it's located. You'll also get a list of top agents with buyer needs that match the property. Plus, this option gives you ongoing matches every time an agent adds a matching buyer.
Add Seller Quietly
Add your seller without sending an email to all TAN members. With this option, you connect only with TAN agents who have the other side of the deal.
This option is ideal for when you start working with a seller, and it's too early to market or when a seller requires more privacy.
When you add your client's information, you'll get a list of TAN agents with matching buyers. You'll also get notified every time a TAN member adds matching buyers.
You can also add a Hidden Quiet Seller. This will let you gauge real buyer demand without sharing property information.

2. Post a Buyer Need
If you're working with a buyer, you'll click "Post a Buyer Need." When you do, you'll have the same two choices:
Broadcast a Buyer Need
When you broadcast, you'll immediately get a list of agents with matching properties. This is a great option if you have a motivated buyer with unique needs who has seen everything on the MLS. Plus, whenever a matching property is broadcast or added quietly, you'll get notified.
Add a Buyer Quietly
Add your buyer without sending an email to all TAN members. With this option, you'll only connect with TAN agents who have the other side of the deal.
This is great if your buyer isn't particularly motivated but would buy if they saw the right property.
It also helps when you have a buyer with common needs and don't want to send their needs to everyone on TAN. After all, everyone has that buyer, and it might be annoying to other agents.
Note: Whether you add a buyer quietly or broadcast their buyer need, you can turn on Auto-notify and give your clients access to matching properties on TAN.
It will send matching TAN properties to your buyers without you needing to do anything. This is the Beta version of our new Client Access Portal, which you can read more about here:
3. Broadcast a Message
Finally, the last option is to Broadcast a Message. You can use this when you need an agent referral in another market. Broadcasting a message can also help you connect about service provider recommendations. Plus, it's a great opportunity for industry discussion and other topics.

All the properties and buyer needs you’ve entered on TAN show up here, including anything you've broadcast or entered quietly.
From this page, you can view, edit, see matches and update your TAN status. You'll also see broadcast messages, draft broadcast properties and all your shared posts.
Conversations
It's easy to manage your conversations on TAN. View and reply to all your TAN conversations on the Conversation page. This page organizes all your communication in one place, making it easier to keep track.
Every one-to-one conversation is connected to the property, buyer need or message, so you'll always have the relevant context. If you have a matching buyer or seller entered on TAN, there will be a reference to that matching client, too.
Chapter Activity
The Chapter Activity page is your "Mission Control" for everything that happens on TAN.
Stay on top of everything with this useful dashboard. View all properties, buyer needs, upcoming showings and TAN members in one spot.
Want to search all broadcast properties, buyer needs and messages? Use the magnifying glass icon in the top right. It's the fastest way to find exactly what you're looking for.
