To create a P6 XER ticket import data source:
Click the three-dotted button next to the project name.
Select Project Settings.
Under the Data Sources drop down menu, click Create New Data Source.
Enter a Data Source Name (for example, P6 XER).
From the Data Source Type dropdown, select P6 XER.
Select a Ticket Time Resolution:
Day – Import ticket durations in days.
Time/Hours – Import ticket durations in hours and minutes for plans with Precision Time Planning enabled.
Enter a WBS Separator.
Click Save.
