Plan diagrams give teams visual context by allowing you to add site plans, blueprints, floor plans, or specific PDF pages directly to the plan surface. By arranging tickets and swimlanes over or alongside these images, teams can better visualize where work is happening and connect planned activities to their physical location on the jobsite.
Images can also be cropped to focus on specific areas and marked up to call attention to important locations or details, making it easier for everyone reviewing the plan to understand the work and site context.
How to Add an Image to Your Plan
Open the plan where you want to add an image.
Click Plan Actions in the top-right corner.
Select Add Image to Plan from the drop-down.
Choose an image from your gallery or upload a new image by selecting +.
Then click Place Selected On Plan.
The image will be added directly to your plan surface.
Edit an Image on Your Plan
Once an image has been added, right-click the image to open the editing toolbar.
From the toolbar, you can:
Move the image to a different location on the plan.
Resize the image by dragging the corners.
Adjust the opacity by clicking the droplet icon to make the image more or less transparent.
Delete the image by clicking the trash icon.
Mark up the image by clicking the pencil icon to highlight areas of interest.
Choose How the Image Moves with Your Plan
You can choose from three positioning options:
Floating: The image moves with the plan, no matter where you scroll.
Vertical Lock: The image stays fixed horizontally but scrolls vertically with the plan.
On Plan: The image stays fixed in place on your screen, regardless of how you scroll through the plan.
Tip: Use On Plan when you want your image to act as a visual reference for tickets and swimlanes in a specific area of your plan.
