When you create a new automated message template, it is typically triggered for future bookings. Tourmie allows you to "retroactively schedule" your messages in just a few clicks.

Scheduling a Message

  • Select the Messages tab.

  • Locate the Message Templates table.

  • Find the message you wish to schedule.

On the right side of the message entry, click the three dots and select Schedule messages.

A window will appear asking you to select a check-in date.

  • Click on the calendar (Select date).

  • Select the date you are interested in (e.g., April 15, 2026).

  • A list of bookings with a future check-in date from your selected date onwards will appear.

Once the list is displayed, review the bookings and select the ones you wish to send the message to.

After finalizing the recipient list, click the Submit button.

Tips for effective scheduling:

  1. Date range: You can repeat the process for different check-in dates if you want to cover a wider range of older bookings.

  1. Timing: Remember that the message will be sent based on the rule you have set in the template (e.g., "5 minutes after the booking is created" or "1 day before arrival").
