How can I reset a player's password to log into the system?

Q: I have a player (who is registered to the system) that forgot their password and needs it reset. How can I reset the password for them?​

A: If you are a Customer Manager, you can send the customer a reset password email. To do this will depend if you have Master Roster Registration or not. We will discuss how to reset passwords when using Master Roster Registration and when not using Master Roster Registration below.

Reset Passwords when using Master Roster Registration:

To reset a players password when using Master Roster Registration, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Customer Center > Master Roster > View Master Roster.

  2. In the "Actions" dropdown for a player, select "Reset Password" (as shown below).

  3. Confirm that you would like to take this action (as shown below).

The player will then receive an email with instructions on resetting the password (as shown below).

Reset Passwords when NOT using Master Roster Registration:

To reset a players password if you are not using Master Roster Registration, follow these instructions:

  1. Within your Event or League, go to Golfers > Event/League Roster.

  2. In the "Actions" dropdown for a player, select "Reset Password" (as shown below).

  3. Confirm that you would like to take this action by clicking "Okay."

The player will then receive an email with instructions on resetting the password (as shown below).
