Q: What is a GGID?
β
A: A GGID (Golf Genius ID) is a unique number/letter combination that is assigned to a specific league/event, round, pairing group, or even a player. GGIDs can be used to log into the mobile app or into an event/league portal from a browser.

Below is more details on the three types of GGIDs:
Event/League GGID: When used to log into the mobile app, the individual will not be able to enter scores, but can view the portal and live leaderboard. This GGID can be found (and changed if necessary) by going to Event/League > Event/League Profile > General Settings.
Round GGID: When used to log into the mobile app, the individual will be able to edit/enter scores for all the players within that round. This GGID can be found (and changed if necessary) by going to Rounds > Round Profile > General Settings. Note: This GGID should only be used by managers.
Foursome GGID: When used to log into the mobile app, players can view the scores and leaderboard for the event, but can only enter scores for their pairing group. This GGID can be found by going to Rounds > Edit Existing Pairings. Toggle the option to show "GGIDs" above the pairing groups. This is a great GGID to add to printed scorecard for each pairing group. Note: Many system scorecards already include this, but it can also be added to any scorecard. Player GGID: This player-specific GGID is used by players to log into the mobile app when the Digital Scorecards feature is used for competitive rounds.
