Often, we don't have the time or the resources to create a catchy print for our events, leagues, and clinics to easily capture players' attention and turn them into registered participants. That all changes with Flyers, a robust design editor. This intuitive editing tool allows you to create captivating marketing materials. Build from scratch or utilize a template to create your Flyer in a few simple steps.

In this article, we will discuss how to manage, set up, and create Flyers for your next event/league.

Using Flyers

Before creating a flyer, you will need to take the following steps:

  • Create an Event/League: Create a new event/league or access an existing one as usual.

Using Flyers with Golf Hub Page QR Codes

Each flyer includes an option to add a QR Code linked to the event/league Golf Hub Page. If you are using Golf Hub Pages and would like to include the QR Code,you will need to take the following steps to enable the option to use the Golf Hub QR Code generator:

  • Create and Publish a Golf Hub Page: Once you have created your event/league or within an existing event/league, go to Apps > Create Golf Hub Page (as shown below).


    Fill in the details for your Golf Hub Page with a description, schedule of events, sponsor logos, and specific banners. Then save and publish the Page. For complete details on setting up your Golf Hub Page, Click Here.

  • Enable Golf Hub Registration (Optional): Offer Golf Hub Registration with your event/league. Note: If you are a Golf Genius TM Club Premium user and want to use Premium registration with your Golf Hub Page, Click Here for details.

Flyers Dashboard

Before creating a new Flyer, you can review your Flyers Dashboard (as shown below) to see if there are any existing templetes or previously create flyers that fit your needs. You can access existing flyers or create new ones from one of two places:

The Flyers dashboard contains two main sections:​

  • My Flyers: These are Flyers you have created from scratch or customized further from templates for your event. More details can be found later in this article.

  • Templates: Designed Flyers that are ready to be customized with event details. More details can be found later in this article. Note: When adding event details to a template, you can utilize dynamic fields to use the template for more events without any additional work.

Golf Hub Flyer Template

Golf Hub Flyer Templates are a collection of pre-designed Flyers that can be customized and used throughout the year. You will be able to take the following actions on templates:

  • New Flyer: Create a new custom Flyer using a template.

When using a template, add event details with dynamic fields so the template can be used for more events/leagues without any additional work. To use any template, follow these directions:

  1. Hover your mouse over the desired template and click "New Flyer."

  2. Insert tournament-related information using text variable (dynamic fields):

    1. Click "Text" on the left column to add new text or

    2. Select any existing text, click "Edit," then "Insert Variable" to add/replace a variable to existing text (as shown below).

  3. Make additional adjustments to the content's design.

  4. Click "Save," and the flyer will be added to the My Flyers section of the Flyers Dashboard.

My Flyers (Previously Created Flyers)

My Flyer on the Dashboard is a collection of Flyers you have previously customized and used for other events. You can customize the Flyer, if needed, and print it for the current event. You can take the following actions on "My Flyers" designs:

  • Edit: Make additional edits to the Flyer and download the flyer.

  • Download PNG: Export the Flyer to your computer as a PNG. Note: Export the Flyer as a PNG if you intend to add it to a web page or social media.

  • Download PDF: Export the Flyer to your computer as a PDF. Note: Export the Flyer as a PDF if you intend to print the Flyer.

  • Delete Flyer: Permanently remove the Flyer from your collection. Note: Use caution when selecting this option, as the Flyer cannot be recovered.

When using any flyer, adding event details with dynamic fields (variable text) is beneficial so the flyer can be used for more events/leagues without any additional work.

To edit/print from "My Flyers," follow these directions:

  1. Within the Event/League, go to Apps > Flyers.

  2. Hover your mouse over the desired Flyer and click "Edit/Print Flyer."

  3. Insert tournament-related information using text variable (dynamic fields):

    1. Click "Text" on the left column to add new text or

    2. Select any existing text, click "Edit" then "Insert Variable" to add/replace a variable to existing text (as shown below).

  4. Make additional adjustments to the design of the content.

  5. Click "Save" to save the changes to the Flyer, and click "Save PNG/PDF" to download the Flyer to your computer for printing.

Creating New Flyers

You can design your flyers anytime from the Flyers Dashboard. This allows you to have full creative control of the content. To create your Flyer, follow these directions:

  1. Within the Event/League, go to Apps > Flyers.

  2. Click "New Flyer."

  3. Add design elements to your Flyers. For more details on designing Flyers, Click Here.

  4. Make additional adjustments to the content's design.

  5. Click "Save," and the Flyer will be added to the My Flyers section of the Flyers Dashboard.

Adding Golf Hub Page QR Codes to Flyers

If you wish to add/update a QR Code to the flyer, follow these directions:

  1. To enable Golf Hub Page QR Codes, follow the steps in the 'Using Flyers with Golf Hub Page QR Codes' section found earlier in this article.

  2. Navigate to and edit a flyer. Note: Details on accessing and editing flyers can be found in the previous sections in this article.

  3. Delete the existing QR Code.

  4. Click QR Code on the left side menu.

  5. Click the image of the QR Code to add it to the flyer.

  6. Move and adjust the size of the QR Code image.

  7. Make any additional change to the flyer and click "Save" to apply the changes.

Downloading and Printing Flyers

**Important Note**

Before printing, test your QR codes (Golf Hub or otherwise) to ensure they link to the correct event. If the link is incorrect, edit the flyer to insert a new, functional QR code.

You can print any Flyer added to the "My Flyer" area of the Flyer Dashboard. To print a Flyer, follow these directions:

  1. Within the Event/League, navigate to the flyers (Apps > Flyers > My Flyers).

  2. Hover your mouse over the desired Flyer and click one of the following options:

    1. Edit Flyer: If you need to make additional changes before downloading and printing the flyer. Then you can select on of the next options.

    2. Download PNG: Export the Flyer to your computer as a PNG. Note: Export the Flyer as a PNG if you intend to add it to a web page or social media.

    3. Download PDF: Export the Flyer to your computer as a PDF. Note: Export the Flyer as a PDF if you intend to print the Flyer.

  3. After clicking Download PNG/PDF, the Flyer will be downloaded to your default download folder, where you can access, print, and share it.
