Updated this week

This feature is available for the following products:

(For a brief introductory video about Golf Hub, Click Here.)

Golf Hub is a set of features to increase awareness and boost participation in your Events, Leagues, and Clinics. Golf Hub provides a modern, streamlined approach, making it easy to promote, display details, and register for upcoming events in one location.

You can easily create Golf Hub Pages (digital flyers) and paper flyers for all your events, leagues, and clinics. Every Golf Hub Page you create can be organized and published to your "My Golf Hub" (including a centralized location or 'Club Hub' for all your club events, leagues, and clinics) and Public Hubs. Public Hubs include the global Golf Genius Hub and authorized aggregators Hubs (i.e., Allied Golf Associations (AGA)). For a brief introductory video on authorized aggregator Hubs (Click Here).

Below is an example of a Golf Hub page.

Each Hub your event is displayed on, the more views it will get. When golfers view your Golf Hub Pages on your Hubs or public Hubs, golfers can also share those Golf Hub Pages with friends and family via email and social media. Further, you can offer registration and allow players to submit payments online.

You can embed your "My Golf Hubs" into an existing website and share it via email and social media using a link. Below is an example of what a Club Hub may look like.

You might be asking, isn't the Golf Hub similar to a Directory? Before creating your Golf Hub pages, it's essential to understand the difference and relationship between Golf Hub pages and Directories. You'll find the best solution for your needs by better understanding these two features. Click Here to read an article on this subject.

In this article, we will discuss the following:

Setting up your "My Golf Hubs":

Getting started with My Golf Hub is quick. The first step will be to set up your My Golf Hubs. When setting up your My Golf Hubs, you will have the option to utilize the default hubs or create custom hubs as outlined below:

  • Club Hub: As the primary Hub, Club Hub displays ALL events, leagues, and clinics published to Golf Hub. The Club Hub also provides an option to filter by event, league, and clinic.

  • Event Hub: The Event Hub only shows events published on Golf Hub.

  • League Hub: The League Hub only shows leagues published on Golf Hub.

  • Clinic Hub: The Clinic Hub only shows clinics published on Golf Hub.

  • Custom Hub: When creating your Golf Hub Pages, tag them with specific attributes (e.g., age and gender). You can create a Custom Hub with a specific tag showing events, leagues, and clinics.

Use the Event Hub, League Hub, and Clinic Hubs to share events, leagues, or clinics specifically. Or create a custom Hub by event type (i.e., events, leagues, clinics) and tags (e.g., gender, age). All your specific and custom Hubs are similar to the Club Hub but without the additional filter option since these Hubs already filter pages. For example, the Clinic Hub is a great way to showcase all your upcoming clinics without displaying events or leagues.

To edit existing and create new Golf Hubs, go to Customer Center > Directories & Registration > My Golf Hub Setup, select the action dropdown and click "Edit" (as shown below). Or click "New Hub" to create a custom hub.

Setting up any Golf Hub involves providing a description, setting course details, and adding a banner and sponsors (if applicable). For more details on the available options when setting up your Golf Hub, Click Here.

Authorized Aggregators Hubs and Golf Genius Hubs:

In addition to your My Golf Hubs, there are other Hubs that you Golf Hub Pages can be published to:

  • My Hubs: These are your Hubs, as outlined above, that you have control over the Golf Hub Pages displayed in each of your Hubs.

  • Authorized Aggregators: Authorized aggregators are organizations associated with your facility, such as Allied Golf Associations (AGAs). These authorized aggregators also have the same Hubs and other custom hubs on which your Golf Pages can be displayed.

  • Golf Genius Hubs: This global Golf Genius Hub displays events, leagues, and clinics worldwide.

You can define if you would like your Golf Hub Pages listed on any or all of these Hubs from the Customer Center My Golf Hub Dashboard or when creating a New Golf Hub Page.

Banners, Sponsors and Schedules:

Banners, Sponsors, and Schedules are a collection of discretionary content that can be uploaded and created to assist in populating My Golf Hubs and Golf Hub Pages. These options help populate your Hubs and Pages, create a unique look, and provide additional details for golfers visiting your Hubs and Pages. Click on the links below for more details about these options:

Creating Golf Hub Pages:

Once you have edited your Hubs, populate them with digital flyers or Golf Hub Pages. There are three Golf Hub Page types:

  • Events

  • League

  • Clinics

As you create your Golf Hub Pages, they will automatically populate into the proper My Golf Hub, depending on the type and tags. For example, a published League Golf Hub Page will populate the Club Hub and League Hub. The table below describes the location of Hub pages.

To set up Golf Hub Pages for Events/League or Clinics, create a new event or edit an existing one as you normally would. Once you have created your event/league or within an existing event/league, go to Apps > Create Golf Hub Page (as shown below).

Fill in the details for your event/league or clinic with a description, schedule of events, sponsor logos, and specific banners. Then save it and publish the page. For complete details on setting up your Event/League or Clinic Golf Hub Page, Click Here.

Event Coordinator Upload Access:

Streamline your event setup process with the Golf Hub Event Coordinator Upload Access. Delegate tasks to event coordinators, such as representatives or sponsors, allowing them to easily upload essential event information directly through an online form (as shown below).

Creating Golf Hub Page Flyers (Paper Leaflets):

Golf Hub Flyers is a robust design editor. This intuitive editing tool allows you to create captivating marketing materials for your events, leagues, and clinics. Build from scratch or utilize a template to capture your reader's attention, turning them into registered players in a few simple steps (as shown below).

The Flyers page contains two main sections:

  • Templates: Designed Flyers that are ready to customized with event details. Note: When adding event details to a template, you can utilize dynamic fields to use the template for more events without any additional work. More Details can be found later in this article.

  • My Flyers: These are flyers you have created from scratch or templates you have customized further for your event. More Details can be found later in this article.

If you want to review paid registration activity and add-on, check it from the Registration Report by going to Apps > Registration Report.
