Once you have SSO set up with Jonas or ClubSystems (contact our support team to initiate this process), you can link an event in your club website's calendar to an event portal.
Here are the steps necessary to accomplish this:
Set up your event or league and have your portal designed the way you would like (once you insert the link into your club website calendar, members can see the portal)
Copy the SSO link: SSO links can be found by going to your Customer Center > Customer Settings > Integrations. Under the Jonas or ClubSystems tab, the list of SSO links will be available for all of your events and leagues. We suggest copying the links to the portal vs. registration. This allows the casual viewer to see information before having to register.
Log in as an Admin to your club’s website and create/edit an event.
Check the "Golf Genius Tournament" option for each event, then paste the SSO Links (accessed from the previous step) into the "Golf Genius Tournament Link" area. Save and publish the event.
When clicking on an event in the Calendar, a new page will open in the browser, and the member will be directed right to the event portal in our system (they will not be directed to the usual event information page in the Calendar). From there, they can register and view all event information.
