Uploading Event Spreadsheets when using Master Roster Sync

This feature is only available with the following products:

Customers that use our Master Roster Sync feature can still load their players into events and leagues via spreadsheet.

Follow the instructions below to accomplish this:

  1. Make sure the event roster is "tightly coupled" (synced) with your master roster. To do this, go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Integrations. Select the "Roster Sync" tab, then the "Leagues and Events" tab. Make sure all the events you want tightly coupled are checked.

  2. Make sure the spreadsheet includes each player's first name, last name, and unique identifier (eg., CE ID, MembersFirst ID, Member ID). Example below.


    If you are unsure of what field is used as the unique identifier, go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Integrations. It will be listed as the SSO Unique Custom Field.

  3. Go to Event/League > Upload Roster from Spreadsheet. Upload the spreadsheet.

  4. During the next auto-sync (within 24 hours), any player fields and information that was not on the spreadsheet (e.g., Handicap Service ID, email, etc), will be loaded from the Master Roster. If you'd like that information loaded immediately, go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Integrations. In the Roster Sync tab, select "Sync".
