Customizing the Mobile App (Branding)

This feature is only available with the following products:

Branding and sponsorship exposure is a valuable benefit for many events. Our products offer you the opportunity to customize the Mobile App and Digital Scorecards so that it is uniquely tailored for any event. You can add logos and banners to various screen page displays and even insert sponsor or message pages in between holes during score entry on the app.

You may also create a "default" mobile app logo and banner for all of your leagues and events. Every time you create an event or league, the default mobile app logo and banner will be used. To add the default logo and banner for your account, go to Customer Center > Customer Settings > Mobile App Settings. There will be two tabs available for branding:

  • Color and Logo

  • Banners

If you want to create a unique logo, banner, and pages for the mobile app for a specific event/league (not the default), go to Apps Menu on the Manager Site for that particular event or league. You will see the following options:

  • Color and Logo

  • Mobile Pages

  • Mobile Banners

Mobile pages are displayed in between holes while players are entering scores. For instance, when a player enters scores on the mobile app for hole #5 and saves, a mobile page will be displayed before the player is directed to hole #6. These mobile pages will be discussed in more detail below.

Mobile App Color:

The color scheme is the color that shows on most pages on the app. There are a few standard color options for the color scheme, as well as a color code picker where you can enter HEX or RGBA color code values to find a specific color (as shown below).


Mobile App Logo:

The logo is displayed on the Overview page of the mobile app as well as the login page when a player logs back into an event or league. You can use your primary logo for the event or league, or you can use another logo uploaded from your computer.

To modify your primary or secondary logo, you can do that by going to Event/League > Logos, Banners & Backgrounds. For More details, Click Here.

To upload a logo from your computer, follow these directions:

  1. Go to Apps > Color & Logo.

  2. In the popup window, click "Choose File."

  3. Navigate to the logo, select it, and click "Open."

  4. Add an "Image Title." The title will allow for quick searching of a logo.

  5. Click "Upload Logo."


The selected logo will be set as the Mobile App logo. If you want to change it, click "Another logo" again or choose one of the other options.

Mobile App Banners:

The mobile app banners are displayed at the bottom of the score entry pages. In the screenshot below, there is a banner at the bottom of the score entry page for hole #3

You can set up specific banners for each hole (as shown below).​

During setup, you can always use banners that were created from past leagues in events. In the screenshot above, there is a banner from a past event that can be copied into the current event.. By simply clicking on "Copy", the banner will be moved into this league/event.

As stated above, you can create different banners for different holes. In the setup above, you will see that four different banners are used, all assigned to different holes.

To create a new banner, follow these instructions:

  1. Click on "Design New Banner".

  2. In the "Basic Info" tab, name the banner and select the available holes where the banner should be displayed. Holes where banners are already assigned, will not be selectable.

  3. Go to the "Design" tab. The rectangular box on the right is the area for the banner.
    That area is 320px x 50px. The collage editor tools can be found on the left. For more details about using the collage editor, Click Here.

  4. Once finished with the design, click "Save."

The sequence below shows the process:

Mobile Pages:

Mobile pages will display in between holes while players enter scores. The screenshot below shows two examples of mobile pages.

When a player enters scores on the mobile app for a hole and saves, a mobile page may pop up before the player is directed to the next hole. Different mobile pages can be used throughout the round. The player will simply click on "Continue" at the bottom of the page to move to the next hole.

To create mobile pages, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Apps > Mobile Pages.

  2. On the setup page, there will be a list of all the mobile pages that are currently set up for this event or league (as shown below). To design a new page, click on "Design New Page".

  3. In the "Basic Info" tab, select when the mobile page should be displayed on the mobile app. In the screenshot below, the mobile page will be shown after the 5th and 12th holes.


    In the row below, you can alternatively select a hole relative to each foursome. This will be relevant for events with shotgun starts. By selecting "4", the mobile page will show after the 4th hole that is played by all the pairing groups regardless of starting hole. For example, if a pairing group starts on hole #3, they will see this mobile page after hole #7. If a hole is not selectable, that means it is already being filled by another page that's been created.

  4. Go to the "Design" tab. The rectangular box on the right is the design area for the mobile page.
    That area is 320 x 513 px. The collage editor tools can be found on the left. For more details about using the collage editor, Click Here.

  5. Once finished with the design, click "Save."

With these customization options on the mobile app, branding and sponsorship is taken to a new level. Increasing the exposure of your sponsors helps you deliver more value and will increase the quality of your leagues and events.
