The Rules Quiz feature is a powerful tool designed to help golf professionals educate their members and players on the Rules of Golf (or any other topic you wish to test the knowledge of your golfers). For example, if you manage a Junior Golf event, you may require junior golfers to pass a Rules of Golf quiz before being eligible to participate in the event. Once the golfer passes the quiz, a Custom Field in the player’s Master Roster profile will automatically populate with a passing value. By creating and administering quizzes, you can test and educate golfers and set eligibility criteria for registration based on the completion and passing of a quiz.
Some key features include:
Custom Question Bank: Create your bank of questions tailored to specific local rules, commonly misunderstood rules, or areas you want to emphasize. Access your library of pre-written rules questions when creating new quizzes.
Question Types: Utilize multiple choice single or multiple answer and true/false question formats for varied assessments.
Registration Eligibility Criteria: When using member registration, you can utilize the quiz results as event eligibility criteria.
Validation Time Frame: Select a date and time when a quiz is active and inactive. Optionally, golfers can be required to answer quiz questions again if the same quiz is used multiple times throughout the year.
Immediate Scoring and Feedback: Configure scoring options and provide immediate feedback to players after submitting a quiz.
In this article, we will discuss managing, creating, and administering Rules Quizzes. To utilize quizzes, Master Roster Registration must be enabled.
