The significance of having the ability to localize and translate the Member Portals is of great importance and value. While English is a very commonly spoken language, it still might be a second language for some. We also know that most people respond better if they are spoken to in their native language. When communicating with someone in their native language, people feel more at ease and comfortable. We can build a better connection with those we are communicating with when we are using their native language.
With the use of Member Portal Translation, we can now display the portal in the following languages for managers:
English
Canadian French (Fançais Canadien)
Dutch (Nederlands)
French (Français)
Italian (Italiano)
Japanese (日本語)
Slovak (Slovenčina)
German (Deutsch)
Spanish (Español)
Managers can also translate/localize content in multiple languages for select areas of the portal.
In conjunction with the Manager Site Translation, you can view the entire Golf Genius TM product (manager's site, member portal, mobile application) in multiple languages.

In this article, we will discuss how to enable a second language and the various locations where a manager can supply translated/localized content in multiple languages.
Enable Member Portal Translation
To allow Member Portal Translation, you must enable it in the Customer Center. To enable translation, go to Customer Center > Customer Setting > Default Settings > General Setting tab. In the section "Available Languages," you can enable or disable specific languages that can be toggled between on the Member Portal (as shown below).
Once a language is enabled, it will be available on the manager's site (if available), the mobile app, and member portals (as shown below). For details on selecting a language for the manager's site, Click Here.
As a manager editing the portal, you can also select an alternative language. Once an alternative language is selected, all sections and page content editors will also be translated, allowing you to work in your native language (as shown below in French Canadian).
Translate/Localize Content in Multiple Languages
When multiple languages are enabled, the manager can provide version naming for the following items:
Tournament Name: Managers will have the option under the tournament name to "Add Translation" (as shown below) on the tournament setup page. Once the option is clicked, a new field will be shown, and the manager can fill out the tournament name in multiple languages.
Name version will be available for the following tournament formats:Round Tournaments
Multi-Round Tournaments
Linked Tournaments
Bracket Tournaments
User Scored Tournaments
Member Portal Section Name: When multiple languages are available, every portal section can have a second naming version. When creating a new section or editing an existing section, click "Add Translation," and you can add a second name version (as shown below).
