If you are using live scoring for an event, you may be using volunteers or golf shop staff assigned to each group as walking scorers. In the event you assign each walking scorer with a device that is equipped with a barcode scanner, you can put a foursome or player GGID on a scorecard or report in barcode format. The scorer can quickly scan the barcode instead of entering the GGID manually. For more details on GGID's, Click Here.

In this article, we will discuss how you can add GGID barcodes to scorecards and reports.

Adding GGID Barcodes to a Scorecard:

If you would like to add a GGID Barcode to your scorecard, you must be using the Scorecard Composer. To add GGID Barcodes to a scorecard go to, Round > Print Scorecards, edit an existing scorecard or compose a new scorecard. When editing the scorecard, under the Header & Footer tab, you can click on "Add Text or Field". This gives you the option to add text or data fields anywhere on the scorecard canvas.

If you search "barcode" all the barcode options will be displayed. To allow your walking scorer to enter scores for the entire group, add the "P1 Foursome Barcode GGID", (as shown below).

This will add a Barcode to the scorecard canvas that can be moved to your preferred location, (as shown below).

Note: When adding a barcode, only the barcode can be added at a time to the "Add Text or Field" option. Other data cannot be added at the same time a barcode is added.

Adding GGID Barcodes to a Report:

If you would like to add a GGID Barcode to a report, you can use the Report Composer or Page Composer. To add GGID Barcodes to a report go to, Round > Report Center, edit an existing report or compose a new one.

When designing a section of the report composer or page composer, you have the ability to "Add Text or Field" data. This gives you the option to add text or data fields to your report. Click "Add Text or Field" and search "barcode" to see all the available barcode options. Pick the data field for the Barcode you need, (as shown below).

This will add a Barcode to the report designer that can be moved to your preferred location, (as shown below).

Note: When adding a barcode, only the barcode can be added at a time to the "Add Text or Field" option. Other data cannot be added at the same time a barcode is added.
