How can I have the first seed scheduled first in a Round Robin?

Updated over 4 months ago

This feature is available for the following products:

Q: I am running a round robin tournament and would like to make sure the lowest seed always plays first in each round. How can I do that?

A: When creating a Round Robin Schedule and using Player Flights or Flights by Team, you can have the first seed always schedule to play first in each round by checking the box "The lowest seed will always play in the first match" (as shown below). This option will only show if you have selected the option to "Use Flights when creating the schedule?"

Further, suppose you create a 9 Hole Round Robin using tee times. In that case, matches are scheduled in an order that will allow one of the teams in the earlier tee time to be matched up against a team in the next tee time in the next round, avoiding teams needing to wait more than one group for their opponent.

Note: If you are not creating flights, but would still like to use this feature, you can create one flight that holds all the players or teams, and you will be able to use this feature.
