Q: I am sending an email outside of Golf Genius, inviting specific golfers to register for an event. Is there a way for me to include my event registration link within that email?
A: Yes, unique links can be generated for each golfer when using an invitation list in conjunction with registration. These links are unique to each golfer, and redirect them to the registration page without requiring them to log in or further validating their identity.
Here is how you can access those unique links:
Navigate to League/Event > Invitation List.
Add golfers to your Invitation List via the Master Roster or based on Season Points.
Click on "Download Invitation List" (as shown below).
Download spreadsheet.
Copy the unique code for column (as shown below). Note: Please make sure you select the correct link for each golfer as they are unique to specific players.
Add the golfer's unique registration link to their respective email.
When players access the registration link provided in the spreadsheet, they will be redirected directly to the registration page. This page will be pre-populated with data corresponding to the Member ID found within the link, along with any other configured registration field options (as shown below).
