Plan: Advanced plan.

Customers love to know when they can receive the product if they place the orders right now. This article is on how to add an Estimated delivery date on your product page. This is what it looks like after you finish setting up EDD:

Configure your Estimated Delivery Time

  1. Head to Track123 App > Add-Ons > Estimated Delivery Time > Customize

  2. After clicking Customize, you need to configure your EDD calculation settings based on your actual shipping operation.

  3. Click Edit widget.

  4. A popup editor will appear where you can edit your EDD display content.

    Inside the editor, you can:

    • Add text and format it with the rich text editor

    • Insert emoji

    • Insert dynamic variables

      Available dynamic variables

You can insert the following variables into your EDD content:

      • {edd} β†’ Estimated delivery date

      • {map_pin} β†’ Map pin icon

      • {flag} β†’ Country flag icon (based on customer IP or shipping address country)

      • {location} β†’ Country name (English) or delivery location

  5. Click the language selector to switch and edit content for other languages.

  6. Click enable EDD feature.

Add EDD to your product page

  1. After finishing setup and content editing, click Add widget

  2. You will be redirected to the Shopify theme editor.

    Then:

    • The EDD block will be added to your product page

    • You can drag it to the position you want

    • Click Save in theme editor

How it works?

  • Product EDD = Order created time + Processing time + Transit time.

  • The EDD is calculated based on your customer's default shipping address(Logged customer) or IP address(Not logged customer).
