What is Facebook Event Mapping?

The Event Mapping feature in Trackify allows you to customize how events are sent to Facebook.

Instead of using only Facebook's standard events, you can:

πŸ”Ή Replace a standard event with a custom event of your choice.

πŸ”Ή Fire a custom event alongside a standard event.

πŸ”Ή Name the custom event dynamically based on your preference.

This gives you more flexibility in tracking user actions and optimizing your Facebook Ads strategy.

Why is Facebook Event Mapping Important?

πŸ˜€ Full Control Over Event Tracking

You decide how events are sent to Facebook, allowing for more precise tracking.

πŸ˜€ Custom Event Naming

Use any name for your custom events to match your internal tracking system.

πŸ˜€ Fire Events Together or Separately

Choose whether to fire the custom event alongside the standard event or replace it.

πŸ˜€ Better Data for Facebook Ads

Send more relevant event data to Facebook, leading to better ad optimization and more accurate audience targeting.

πŸ˜€ No Code Needed

Set up event mappings directly from the Trackify UI without modifying any code.

How to Use Trackify's Facebook Event Mapping

1. Navigate to Event Mapping

-> Go to the Facebook tab in Trackify.

-> Click on the "Event Mapping" tab.

2. Add a New Mapping

-> Click on the "Add New Mapping" button.

3. Configure Your Mapping

-> Choose a Standard Event (e.g., AddToCart, Purchase, etc.).

-> Enter a Custom Event Name (you can name it whatever you like).

-> Enable "Fire Together" (optional)

(If checked, both the standard event and the custom event will fire together. If unchecked, only your custom event will fire)

4. Save the Mapping Setting

-> Click "Save Mapping", and your event mapping is active and ready to use.

*** Note: Currently, Event Mapping is available for Facebook only. A similar feature for other platforms may be added in the future.
