The Trade Tracking page provides a comprehensive breakdown of individual trades, offering insights and tools to help you analyze and manage your trades effectively.

Introduction

When you click on a trade, whether from the Trade Log or the Daily Journal, you’ll be taken to the Trade Tracking page—a detailed view of the selected trade. Let’s explore the various sections of this page to understand how to maximize its potential.

Daily Trades Sidebar

  • The left sidebar on the Trade Tracking page displays all your daily trades, making it easy to access and review your trading activity.

If you prefer a more streamlined workspace, you can collapse this sidebar by clicking on the hamburger icon.

Daily Performance Overview

  • At the top of the sidebar, you’ll find a summary of your daily performance, including key metrics such as net P&L, total trades, win rate, and profit factor. Think of it as your daily trading report card, providing a quick snapshot of your performance.

Switching Trading Days

  • To review a different trading day, click the down arrow at the top of the sidebar to bring up a calendar, allowing you to easily navigate to another trading day.

Tabs: Stats, Playbook, Execution, and Attachments

Next to the sidebar is the Trade tab sidebar, which features four key sections: Stats, Playbook, Execution, and Attachments.

Stats Tabs

  • The Stats section provides detailed statistics for the individual trade, such as SL (Stop Loss), PT (Profit Target), and other customizable metrics.

  • You can personalize this display by clicking the settings icon in the right corner and selecting your preferred stats.

Playbook Tabs

  • In the Playbook section, you can attach your trade to a playbook and mark off specific rules and criteria. This feature helps you maintain consistency and discipline in your trading strategy.

Execution Tabs

  • The Execution section gives you a detailed breakdown of the execution you took on the trade. You can view, add, or edit execution details.

  • For a more comprehensive view, click the “View All” button to see the complete execution history. Refer to the detailed help article on Executions.

Attachments Tabs

  • The Attachments section allows you to add images to your trades, providing additional context or supporting materials for your analysis.

Main Chart and Analysis

Main Chart

  • The main chart on the Trade Tracking page enables you to analyze your trades. It clearly shows your entry and exit points.

  • You can further personalize this chart by setting default indicators, adjusting how executions are displayed (either on the exact price point or on top of the candle), and choosing whether to display pre-market data.

Charts & Running P&L

  • Below the main chart, you’ll find a dropdown labeled “Charts & Running P/L.”

  • Clicking on this reveals additional charts—if you’re trading options, it will display an options price chart.

  • Below that, you’ll see your running P&L, giving you a clear view of your profit and loss progression throughout the trade.

Share and Replay Features

  • Share Button: Located above the main chart, this button allows you to share your trade with others.

  • Replay Button: Next to the share button, the replay option lets you revisit the trade and replay it second by second, offering a dynamic way to review your trading decisions.

Trade Notes and Daily Notes

Trade Notes Section

  • The Trade Notes section allows you to add notes specific to the individual trade.

  • These notes are accessible from the Notebook page, ensuring that your observations and insights are always within reach.

Daily Notes Section

  • The Daily Notes section is for logging notes that apply to the entire trading day.

  • Any notes you take here will sync across all trades for that day and can be accessed from the Daily Journal page, Notebook page, and other trades on the same day.
