Exporting your trades from Rithmic R Trader into TradeZella is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure your trading data is accurately imported.

Exporting trade data from Rithmic R Trader into a file

  • Open R | Trader and navigate to Orders History by clicking on "File" in the top left corner.

  • Select "Orders History" from the dropdown menu.

  • Choose the specific account and a specific date from which you want to export your trades.

Currently, you can only export one day’s worth of trade data at a time. If you want to export trades for multiple days, you have to export multiple times.

  • In the Completed Orders section, right-click anywhere in the column headings.

Column Configuration: The Completed order section and the Working order section are separate. Ensure you configure the columns/headers correctly in the Completed Orders section to include all necessary data and ensure an accurate import.

  • Click on "Add/Remove columns". Ensure the following columns are added:

    • Account | Status | Remarks | Buy/Sell | Qty To Fill | Symbol | Qty Filled | Avg Fill Price | Limit price | Order Number | Create Time | Update Time | Commission (if applicable)

  • Click OK to confirm.

  • After configuring columns, export the data as a CSV file.s

  • Save the file to your desktop or a location of your choice.

Uploading the exported file into TradeZella

  • Go to the TradeZella File Upload page.

  • Select the account where you want to upload this file. From the broker list, choose "Rithmic R Trader." Then, upload the saved CSV file. TradeZella will take care of the rest, ensuring your trades are imported accurately.

Common Errors

  • Column Configuration: The Completed order section and the Working order section are separate. Ensure you configure the columns/headers correctly in the Completed Orders section to include all necessary data and ensure an accurate import.

  • CSV Format: The file must be saved in CSV format for successful upload to TradeZella.

  • If your file fails to upload, please ensure it matches the sample Rithmic export below. If it does not match, you may have missed an import step or uploaded the incorrect file format.
