To seamlessly import your trades from MatchTrader into TradeZella, follow the steps below.
Exporting trade data from MatchTrader into a file
To import trades, you will need to perform two exports: one for closed trades and one for open trades.
How to Import Closed Trades from MatchTrader
Start by logging into your MatchTrader platform.
Navigate to the "Closed" positions tab located at the bottom section of Match Trader.
Select the date range for the trades you wish to export.
Click the Download icon on the far right and select "HTML." Note: Please select HTML format for a successful upload. CSV format is NOT supported.
How to Import Open Trades from MatchTrader
Important note: Ensure your closed positions are already uploaded to TradeZella following the steps above!
Open your MatchTrader platform.
Navigate to the "Open" positions tab located at the bottom section of MatchTrader.
Select the date range for the trades you wish to export.
Click the Download icon on the far right and select "HTML."
Uploading the exported file into TradeZella
Visit the TradeZella Add Trade page here or by clicking the “Add Trade” button on the sidebar.
On the Add Trade page, click “Add New Account” if you’re creating a new account for these trades.
If you’re uploading trades to an existing account, simply click on the “Add Trades” button in the account field:
On the Add New Account page, select MatchTrader as the broker and click Continue.
Next, select the File Upload method and click Continue again.
On the final step, select the timezone of the file and upload the file. The system will handle the rest.
Note: Make sure that you've uploaded all your closed positions to TradeZella before adding any new open trades.
