Common Features to All Tabs

Although Trak can be used to track nearly 1000 pieces of information, it is surprisingly easy to use. Part of this ease of use is the consistency of the interface. While every tab in the system tracks data for a different aspect of the MDT process, those tabs do share certain components in common. Those common components mean that you have very few new things to learn on the tabs or sub-tabs for each discipline.

The video below introduces the common components of each tab.

General Tab

The general tab serves as a master summary and starting point for viewing case. It pulls data from every other tab and has special data resources unique to it as well. It is the tab that is least like the others. The video below shows the features of the general tab.

People Tab

The People tab is where you go to deal with all the information about the people on the case. If you did not know everyone involved at the case opening time, or there is a change in information about known persons, the People tab is where you go to find the info you need. The video below demonstrates the features of the People tab.

LE Tab

Law Enforcement is another important partner in the abuse investigation. This tab allows you to record details about the LE investigation, including Charges that were filed against the Alleged Perpetrator. This charges list is controlled by the Charges Pick List from the Prosecution tab. For information on using the LE Tab, see the video below.

Medical Tab

The Medical Tab has some of the most complex data in the entirety of Trak. This is the area where we can capture in depth details of a forensic medical exam if such an exam is required. The video below discusses the features of the Medical Tab.

See the attachment below Medical Tab for a video tutorial.

FI Tab

Another part of the investigation process is talking to the client in a safe, secure, child friendly environment. The FI tab allows you to record information about when the FI occurred, what information was gained from the process, and which partners were involved in the process. The video below demonstrates these features.

Mental Health Tab

A critical component of supporting the client is providing appropriate counseling services to help them deal with the trauma and stress of the abuse event and help them develop skills needed for long term resiliency. The MH tab can be used for tracking the client’s progress through MH treatments as shown in the video below.

Victim's Advocacy Tab

The VA plays a critical role in helping lead the client to recovery and through the processes involved in investigating and prosecuting an abuse case. The VA Tab provides an area to record the breadth and depth of services provided to your clients as well as a place to track VOCA application process. See the details in the video below.
