Problems importing Bookings from Classic Vacations?

Can't import a Booking via Classic Vacations

Having problems importing a Booking from Classic Vacations? Here are a few things to consider when you run into problems:

1. Problem: "I'm not able to login" or
"nothing happens after I input my credentials."

Some users will try to login and they are unable to do so. Here's what could be happening.

When you authenticate your credentials for Classic Vacations within their system, they issue a token. Classic Vacations deactivates the token after 10 minutes. You will want to make sure you login to Classic in Travefy within 10 minutes of authenticating your credentials in Classic. When the token expires after 10 minutes you will need to resign in with your credentials.

2. Problem: My Travefy spins and spins and spins?

Some users will login with their Classic Credentials and then they notice that the load bar in Travefy spins and spins. Here's what could be happening.

If you are using a CRM integration with Travefy or on a white label, you will need to check your browser’s URL bar to ensure you are on “Travefy.com”. Due to restrictions with Classic Vacations agent authentication process, you cannot be on other subdomains like vacationcrm.travefy.com or others. Be sure you are on Travefy.com when you authenticate with Classic Vacations.

3. Problem: "We were unable to find this itinerary."

Some users will see a yellow banner appear that says, "We are unable to find this itinerary." Here's what could be happening:

The Booking could actually be a quote. Quotes can't be imported via the Booking Import method. Make sure this is a confirmed trip on Classic and not a quote.

If the booking is no longer a quote you will want to make sure that the names are included otherwise Classic will still view the booking reservation as a quote.

If you believe the booking you are attempting to import should be working, contact Classic Vacation support at websupport@classicvacations.com with the bookings that you are having issues importing and they can verify on their end if they will be supported or not.
