System users can manage different components of the Rota King system, based on their assigned role.


How do I create a system user

  1. Go to System Users in the configuration(the cog icon in the top right-hand corner).

  2. Click Add System User.

  3. Complete the required fields, including name, email address, role, location, and user status. Then click Add.

  4. The new user should show in the list now. You can click Edit and add more information to the user profile, such as locations, divisions, and departments. You can also see which rotas they are assigned to as lock approvers in Rotas section.

  5. You can link the system users to their employee accounts, enabling them to switch smoothly between the configuration and employee portals in Linked Employee section.

  6. You can also Archive a user by clicking the Edit button of the user you want to archive. Where it says User Status, there will be drop down menu. Choose Archive and the user will be Archived and no longer have access. Press Update to save changes.
