Revenue streams refer to the different sources or categories of income a business generates. This helps the business track and analyse which areas are generating income and how much, making financial management and reporting more organised.
Go to Revenue Streams in the configuration(the cog icon in the top right-hand corner).
Click on the Create Revenue Stream button.
Give the revenue stream a name and enter the external reference if applicable.
Select the applicable options.
Is Global: Specify whether this revenue stream can be applied globally.
Exclude from Totals: Specify whether this revenue stream will be excluded from total sales.
Apply Reduction for VAT in Financial Imports: Specify whether a reduction will be applied to the VAT amount when importing financial data for this revenue stream.
Click Create.
Revenue streams will be displayed in the Flash Report, providing a breakdown of sales.
6. If the above Global box is unticked then a Locations box will appear.
7. If you click on the Location Box a drop down menu will appear.
8. Click on the relevant Location and click Update to save changes
