How to book leave
To book leave, you can create the leave request via dashboard or using Book Leave option in the navigation.
When you select to book a holiday, you will be able to view the amount of leave you have chosen to take, and the remaining leave balance after the holiday is booked.
Select the appropriate leave type.
Hour Type will be pre-selected for you.
You can select the dates for your leave and add any relevant comments to your request.
When submitting the holiday request, the system will display a list of other employees on the same rota who are on leave during the same time period.
Once the leave request is submitted, it will appear as "pending" and will be sent to the approver for approval.
Once a leave request is submitted, you will be directed to the Leave Management page. This page provides an overview of your remaining leave balance, as well as upcoming and taken holidays, along with the status of each request.
How to cancel a leave request
Click on the 3 dots and select More Info against the request.
Add the cancellation comment if necessary, and then select Cancel.
When your request is approved / rejected
You will receive an email notification for an approved or rejected leave request, and the status will be updated in your employee portal.
When a request is cancelled by your manager
If a request is cancelled, you will receive an email notification, and the status will be updated in the portal.
