Holidays and Unavailability

Employees now have the ability to book a full week of holiday that appears on the schedule, while only selected days within that period are paid. To support this, system users can now mark specific days within a holiday request as unavailable.

How to set the unavailability when requesting Holiday

  1. Go to the Scheduling tab on the left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Click on the Name and Date of the employee that wants to book annual leave.

  3. Click on the Book Leave Block.

  4. Select the Date Range.

  5. Click on the Shifts To Be Created and a dropdown menu will appear with the shifts that have been requested.

  6. Select the days that you wish to make Unavailable.

  7. Click Add Annual leave

  8. The Holiday and Unavailability will now appear on the schedule.

💡Tip! The unavailable days selected in the leave request are shown clearly on the schedule, and any days marked as unavailable are automatically added back to the employee’s holiday allowance.
