How to add and detach employees from rotas

⚠️Please do not follow the steps below if you have an automation set up between your HR system and Rota King.

After rota types have been restricted by job title, users can add the employees they want to display on the specific rota or remove them if they are no longer required.


How to add employees to a rota

  1. Go to Rota Management on the left-hand side.

  2. Select the rota.

  3. Head over to the Employees tab.

  4. Click on Add Employees, select required employees, and add them.


How to detach employees from a rota

  1. Go to Rota Management on the left-hand side.

  2. Select the rota.

  3. Head over to the Employees tab.

  4. Click on Detach, and then a confirmation box will appear. Once the detach action is confirmed, the employee will no longer appear on this rota.
