Access, Onboarding, Recovery and Tips

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Access Codes & The Waitlist (During our phased rollout, an Access Code is required to join.

  • How to get one: Codes are sent via email to those on the waitlist or provided through user/ambassador referrals.

  • No need to ask: You do not need to contact support for a code; they are granted automatically to waitlisted users.

How to set up your Tria Account.

  1. Download or Access: Get the Tria App from your official app store or visit the Tria Web App.

  2. Sign Up: Tap Signup/Login and choose your preferred authorization method (Log in via Google or Apple).

  3. Enter Access Code: Input your invitation code. If you don't have one, you can join the waitlist directly in the app or get a referral code from a user or a Tria ambassador.

  4. Claim your Tria Name: Choose a unique username that will represent you across the ecosystem. Example: wiven@tria

  5. Finish Setup: Complete the basic configuration to land on your dashboard.

What is a Tria Name?

Your Tria name is your unique, human-readable identity.

  • Universal Address: It acts as a single blockchain address for all supported chains, making it easy to send and receive crypto.

  • Permanent: Once you confirm your Tria Name, it cannot be changed. Please double-check the spelling and make sure it is easy for you to remember.

The Seed Phrase (Your Master Key)

A seed phrase is a 12 or 24-word "master key" to your wallet.

  • Why it matters: It allows you to recover your funds if you lose your device or forget your login.

  • Critical Security: Anyone with this phrase can control your money. Never share it, do not store it digitally (like in screenshots or emails). Store it offline in a private place.

  • No Recovery: If you lose this phrase, Tria cannot reset it or recover your funds.

Important Tips for a Smooth Experience

  • One Account Per Person: Please maintain only one Tria Account. Creating duplicates can cause issues with your KYC verification or Card Bookings.

  • Missing Assets: If you log in and see a zero balance, double-check if you are signed in correctly with your initial email (Google or Apple). Using a different email address creates a brand new account rather than logging into your old one.

  • Email Issues: If your email is deactivated or compromised, you can use your seed phrase to recover your Tria Wallet.
