Creating a checklist with different question types is a great way to collect important information within your team.
General Section provides different question types to meet various situational requirements. There are 10 groups of question types:

Checkbox
A checkbox allows you to select one or more options from a list.
Text
Question Types | Function | Examples |
Text - Single Line | Use this field for short responses. | E.g. "Name", "Address", etc. |
Text - Multi Line | Use this field for longer, multi-line text responses or detailed input. | E.g. "Description of Issue" |
Static Text | This is for displaying fixed information that users cannot edit, such as instructions or descriptions. | E.g. "By submitting this form, you agree to our terms and conditions." |
Header | Use this to create headings or titles that organise content. | E.g. To organise your content under the Food Standards section, use headers like "Food Temperature", "Materials Handling", and "Food Production" to separate each topic. |
Masked Text | This field is used to hide sensitive information as it's being entered, such as passwords. | E.g. "Password", "Pin", etc. |
User Defined Options
You can customise the options to fit your specific questions.
Multiple Choice Options
Unlike User Defined Options, Multiple Choice Options are predefined and cannot be changed.
Linked Item
Asset/Location/Contractor/Risk Assessment Selection List is a feature that allows you to select a specific asset/location/contractor/risk assessment from a predefined list of options. For example, if sites and rooms have already been created in the system, you can use Location Selection List which enables your team to choose a specific room and report maintenance issues within a maintenance request.
Date & Time
This question type allows users to select a specific date and time.
Numeric
Number(integer), Decimal, and Percentage are the most commonly used question types for numeric questions:
Number (Integer): For whole number responses, like quantity or age.
Decimal: For precise values, such as measurements or prices.
Percentage: For questions that require responses in percentage form, like satisfaction ratings or completion levels.
You can add the unit as needed when using the Number (Integer) and Decimal question types.
Currency
This question type is used to collect responses in a specific currency, such as pounds, euros, or dollars.
Media
Signature allows users to digitally sign a document or form while File Upload allows your team to attach the required file or photo to the check, audit, request, or record. For example, if you want to verify that the FOH team has completed the cleaning tasks as required, you can add a file upload question to allow them to attach relevant files or photos as proof of completion.
Other / Temperature
Temperature Question is useful for checking temperatures in various situations, such as measuring the temperature of cooked food, monitoring fridge and freezer temperatures, and ensuring proper food delivery conditions.
