What is a discussion
Discussion is used to group discussion topics and it streamlines communication by allowing team members to collaborate and share ideas in the group chat within Logit.
How to send a message in a discussion
Open the 9-dot waffle menu in the top left corner in the monitor portal.
Select Discussions, you can start a new discussion or simply click on an existing one to send a message.
Enter your first message and click the send icon. You can edit or delete your message, as well as reply to a specific message. Also, you can click the small tick icon in the speech bubble to acknowledge.
To send an urgent message, just turn on the caution icon before sending it.
You can tag a user in your message by clicking the people icon and selecting the users.
To send files or photos, simply click the media icon and upload the files.
When a new message comes in, a notification badge will appear.
How to search for previous messages
Logit doesn't have a chat history option but you can use keywords to search for relevant messages.
Click on the Search button.
Enter the keyword and set a time range, then click Search. You can tick Urgent Message Only to exclude normal messages.
Any messages containing the keyword will be displayed in the chatbox with a timestamp.
How to filter urgent messages
You can click on the caution icon in the top left corner which allows you to view all the urgent messages.
