How to calculate the total value

The total calculated value question type is now available!

The total calculated value question can add up numbers from a selected field over a predefined timespan. This question type is only available in the asset / location properties section.

For example, the management team could track the total repair fees from the past 12 months, enabling them to manage the budget more effectively. Below are the steps:

  1. Go to the Asset Group module in the Configure Portal.

  2. Select the desired asset group and navigate to the Properties section.

  3. Make sure the numeric question(e.g., repair fee) has been added.

  4. Click Add Property and add the total calculated value question.

  5. Set up the calculation settings by selecting the numeric property and defining the timespan.

After that, any repair fee recorded in the most recent 12 months will be added up in the total repair fee field.
