What is a smart board record
Smart boards (Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sensors) are used to visualise and manage tasks. A smart board record is created to update the relevant data.
If you need instructions on how to build a sensor board, this article will be helpful:
How do I build a sensor board record
Unlike Maintenance Board or Housekeeping Board, Sensor Board is used to manage data, such as fridge temperature and repair cost.
In terms of refrigeration temperature, usually we don’t build the temperature record because refrigeration temperature is mostly recorded by using the ETI Bluetooth thermometer or SensorPush (if you need us to integrate SensorPush into the Sensor Board on Logit, please contact our support team).
However, if we want to manage the data which is recorded manually, we need to build a record and link it to the sensor board. Let's say you have created a sensor board called Actual Repair Cost to manage the repair costs of the equipment, and you need a record to upload the actual cost. In this case, we will build a sensor board record to track and manage repair costs.
Go to Form Library and create an asset form.
Select the asset group which you want to monitor.
Go to Questions and click on Add Section.
Choose Asset Group Properties.
Click Link Property and select required monitored section and properties. Here we wil select Repairs and Actual which we have already created within the asset group (you must build the asset group, assets, and properties first).
Go to the 3-dot menu and click on Record to turn the form into a record.
Complete mandatory fields, including Name, Owner, and Department.
Ensure that the record will be completed at the same level as the form.
Add Assign Responsibilities and click Create.
Monitor: Who will be adding the record.
Manager: Who will be managing the record.
Observer: Who will be overseeing the record.
Click Create and you will have a sensor board record.
Go back to the required sensor board and link the record to the board within Workflow section.
Now you can add the housekeeping record in the monitor portal.
