If you see the message “Please select a calculation operation” when trying to add a calculated date question, it means there are no existing date questions available in that section.
A standard Date question must be added first before you can create a Calculated Date question. The system requires an existing date field to perform the calculation. Without a date question in the section, the calculation cannot be set up.
