Rich text formatting & default notes (demo)
Your notes can now carry real formatting — and it flows straight through to the documents Truckbase generates for you. Add custom formatting to order and trip notes, and to your Truckbase-generated documents like Rate Confirmations, BOLs, and Invoices, so everything you send looks polished and reads clearly.
Bold, color, and list formatting to emphasize what matters
Links in your notes — for example, include a link to a third-party form on every dispatch
Default notes and disclaimers so standard language is pre-filled automatically
To enable: navigate to Settings > Documents.
💡 Tip: Use default notes on trips for repeat instructions or links you add to every dispatch. Use disclaimers or memos for fields to show on customer-facing documents (Invoices, Quotes, etc.)
Custom document types (demo)
You can now create your own document types and deactivate ones you don't use, so the paperwork you generate matches the way your business actually runs.
To enable: navigate to Settings > Documents > Document Types.
Home divisions for drivers & equipment (demo)
Assign a home division to each driver and piece of equipment so your records, reporting, and dispatch views stay organized by division automatically. This is especially helpful for multi-division fleets that want cleaner separation without manual tagging.
Set a default home division on any driver or equipment record
With this feature, you can also configure whether you allow cross-division dispatch. Disabling cross-division dispatch limits driver + equipment selections on new loads.
To enable:
Make sure have multiple divisions configured in Settings > Organization
Home divisions can be set on each driver and equipment record.
Division filters on dispatch are available from the dispatch page filter bar or visible on driver/equipment drop-downs on new loads.
Invoice & tax improvements (demo)
A major upgrade to how you handle taxes, invoice formatting, and accounting sync — built with our Canadian customers and detail-oriented back offices in mind.
Item-level taxes & tax groups
Apply taxes at the individual line-item level for precise invoicing
Build tax groups to combine rates — ideal for managing GST/HST
Flag a customer as taxable (or not) so taxes are dynamically applicable by customer
Customizable payment terms
Set a default payment term for your account and customize terms per customer, so due dates are calculated correctly every time
Cleaner invoice PDFs
New toggle to summarize some (but not all) invoice items on the invoice PDF — condense the line items you want while keeping others itemized
New setting to omit country and city from the invoice for a cleaner address block
To enable:
Tax groups, taxable-customer flags, payment terms, and invoice PDF options are all managed in Settings > Invoicing, Factoring, & Fuel.
Taxable fields are accessible on the customer profile
💡 Tip: set your default payment term first, then override it only for the customers who need different terms.

Redesigned Settings (demo)
We've redesigned Settings from the ground up to make it easier to find what you're looking for and configure your account with confidence. We've also added a settings search option to quickly jump to what you're looking for.
Self-serve bulk imports
We've expanded self-serve bulk import options, with drivers, trucks, trailers, customers, carriers, commodities, locations, orders, and quotes all available for bulk imports.
💡 Tip: You can download template file for each bulk import pop-up before importing.
Configurable dispatch messages
Tailor the messages you send to drivers (or other carriers) so they carry exactly the information your team wants, in your own wording.
Configurable dispatch messages give you control over the details and default language in emails and texts.
To enable: navigate to Settings > SMS & Email.
Dispatch & calendar improvements
A set of enhancements to make dispatching faster and your calendar more useful:
Trip status filter on the calendar so you can focus on the trips that matter
Rate field added to the Dispatch table for quick visibility
Setting to adjust Default Trip note/comment visibility
Default final stop delivery — with a setting to customize this behavior
