  • Configurable driver document visibility

  • Brokerage 2.0, Rate Table contracts, and AI order entry (early access)

Read on for more!

Enable & Disable Drivers and Equipment

Drivers and equipment you're not actively using no longer have to be deleted to get them out of your way — and deleting them meant losing their history for good.

Now you can simply disable a driver or piece of equipment to hide it from calendar, dispatch calendar, and asset lists while keeping the driver/equipment profiles. Re-enable it any time and everything picks back up right where it left off.

  • Disable a driver, truck, or trailer from its profile page — no more choosing between “delete” and “keep cluttering my active list”

  • Disabled drivers/equipment are hidden from dispatch, assignment, and active lists by default

To enable: go to any driver or equipment profile and choose Disable from the actions menu. No setup required — available to all users today.

One-Click Stop Completion

Truckbase has granular stop status options for detailed on-time performance and detention tracking (en route, arrived, completed).

However, high-volume and local fleets often just need a single update per stop (e.g., Stop 1 completed). This new setting allows drivers to do just that.

Drivers can now mark a stop complete in a single tap from their dispatch view, instead of stepping through multiple confirmations.

Warning: Reducing stop update steps may impact on-time performance reporting, EDI status updates, geofencing triggers, and ETA calculations. Please consult Truckbase Support to review your needs before changing this setting.

To enable: Settings > Dispatch > Stop settings (or search "Stop Settings")

Global Search

Find any order, trip, driver, customer, or piece of equipment from anywhere in Truckbase without digging through separate tabs. Global Search looks across your whole account at once, so you can jump straight to the record you need.

  • Search orders, trips, drivers, equipment, customers, and carriers from one search bar

  • Jump directly to a record's detail page from the results

Use shortcuts to create new loads, quotes, and more!

To enable: available to all users now — look for the search icon (or select CMD + K) in the side navigation. This is now available to all users.

Quick Load Creation

Creating a load no longer means navigating to a dedicated page first. Press a single key from anywhere in Truckbase, or use the dropdown on the load creation button, to open quick load creation on the spot — and when you start one from the calendar, you can now set pickup and delivery locations right there instead of filling them in later.

  • Press L anywhere in the app to open quick load creation

  • Or open the dropdown on the load creation button and choose the quick-create option

  • Quick load creation from the calendar now includes fields to set pickup and delivery locations, not just a date and asset

To enable: available to all users now — no setup required.

Configure Visibility by Document Type

Previously, one global toggle decided whether all documents were visible to drivers by default — it was all or nothing.

Now you can set driver visibility separately for each document type, so, for example, rate confirmations can default to visible while internal paperwork stays hidden, without touching anything per dispatch.

  • Set a default (visible or hidden) for each document type, instead of one all-or-nothing switch

  • Defaults apply globally across all dispatches; you can still override visibility on any individual document when creating a dispatch

  • Kept separate from email attachment defaults, so configuring one doesn't affect the other

To enable: go to Settings > Driver > Driver app & dispatch link visibility and set defaults by document type.

Also New This Release

  • Adjustable calendar center divider — drag the divider between the Uncovered section and your asset list on the calendar to resize each to your liking.

  • Duplicate orders in the Customer Portal — your customers can now duplicate a past order from the portal to quickly submit a similar request, without re-entering everything from scratch.

  • Default Division for Admins & Dispatchers — set a default division for each admin or dispatcher user so new loads they create are automatically pre-filled with the right division (still changeable per load). To enable: go to Settings > Users and set a Default Division for the user.

  • ProMiles estimates from Order — once a quote with a ProMiles estimate converts to an order, you can now view that estimate (read-only) directly from the order instead of losing access to it.
