Truckbase Product Update - 05.12.2026

Our Turbo Release includes Trip Hours with port-to-port billing, calendar updates, driver units input, and more.

Trip units (Video)

Bulk fleets who need to capture weight or volume from drivers' tickets for billing can now enable a dedicated units-input feature that is required to be completed upon load completion.

Driver-entered units can be automatically populated for billing when that unit is included in the rate (e.g., tons, cubic feet, etc.).

To enable this option, admins can navigate to App Settings > Orders & trips > Trip info > Trip units.

Note: Trip units do not impact the commodities listed on a load. They exist primarily for collection of units from drivers for billing.

Calendar updates (Video)

Calendar tiles have been updated to be full color to assist with more easily viewing trips by status on the calendar.

We also have an early-access release for drag & drop and quick load creation from the calendar. Contact support@truckbase.com to join the waitlist.

Trip hours + port-to-port billing (Video) - Early access

Fleets with hourly billing and hourly trip pay can now track port-to-port hours (in addition to pickup/delivery times). These times can be captured via a driver time-clock on each trip or managed by dispatch.

This is an early access feature. If you'd to join the waitlist, please reach out to support@truckbase.com.

To enable this option, admins can navigate to App Settings > Orders & trips > Trip info > Hours tracking.

Advanced filtering options (Video) - Early access

We've added the option for more advanced filter options on orders and trips tables to combine different conditionals (e.g., Condition 1 AND Condition 2, Condition 1 OR Condition 2). This new advanced filtering can be combined with existing filters to create configurable saved views.

Example: This feature allows you create saved views for the following conditions:

  • All loads that pickup today OR deliver today

  • All loads that are in transit OR picking up today

  • All loads picking up this week OR picking up next week

This is an early access feature. If you'd to join the waitlist, please reach out to support@truckbase.com.

Open API - Early access

For fleets that are looking to connect Truckbase to other internal applications, we have released our initial open API options for pulling orders, invoices, customers, and more from Truckbase.

The initial release is focused read-only access to financial information for ERPs or reporting. We expect to enhance these open API capabilities over the remainder of the year.

If you'd like to learn more, please reach out to support@truckbase.com.
