Overview of User Permissions
Refer to the table below for a detailed breakdown of permissions by user role type:
Admin Users
Admins have the highest level of access and can perform all actions within Truckbase. They are the only users who can update any settings.
Dispatcher Users
Dispatchers primarily have access to operational areas. They are restricted from financials, analytics, and reporting.
Driver Users
Drivers have limited access, focused on dispatch-level information. They can:
View and manage trips and orders they are responsible for, based on admin permissions
Update statuses related to their trips
Upload attachments and leave notes related to their trips
Carrier Users
Carrier users have the same permissions as drivers:
View and manage trips and orders they are assigned to
Update statuses related to their trips
Upload attachments and leave notes related to their trips
Customer Contact Users
Customer contacts have the most restricted access. They can:
Submit order requests.
View (read-only) orders that the carrier has accepted
