We’re constantly improving how construction teams work with AI — from smarter automation with agents like TrunkSubmittal to faster insights in the field with TrunkText. To make it easier for you and your teams to stay informed, we’re launching a monthly release cadence.

Each month, you’ll receive a short update outlining:

Our goal is to bring more predictability, transparency, and support to every improvement we make — so you can maximize the value Trunk Tools can add to your workflows.

You can now delete or rename your TrunkText queries in the left navigation pane in the app. Further, you can easily search to more quickly find and reference a previous query.

While TrunkText has always supported links to the documents it pulls answers from within our application, you can now easily click and be linked directly to the document in your source system (includes Procore, Autodesk, SharePoint, Egnyte, and Box).

We continue to listen to your feedback on ways to make our submittal review agent even more valuable. Specifically, TrunkSubmittal now supports:

Manual document upload

Easily upload submittals straight from your computer if and when you decide to do so.

Select a different document

Tagged the incorrect spec section in your source system? You can now select different documents and restart the review.

Track in-progress reviews

Reviews in progress are now visible in the All Submittal Reviews table, giving you real-time visibility into review status.

Handle failed reviews with ease

Failed reviews are clearly displayed and you can re-run them instantly with a single click.

Richer review table data

The All Submittals Review table now displays the Submittal Type, Responsible Contractor, and Submittal Manager, helping you quickly understand ownership and context.

TrunkText can now answer queries about RFIs and title blocks in drawings with more precision. Examples of queries where you can expect more value and accuracy include:

Beginning next month, TrunkSubmittal will support many more submittal types to help you further accelerate your review process and protect your projects from missed details that can lead to rework.
