There are several use cases where you may not want to create a static TryLink, but rather need to add the TryLink logic to URLs that can change:
Dynamic URLs in Klaviyo flows (e.g. browser abandonment emails that show different products to users, based on what they were browsing)
Styling services, where a stylist can recommend many different products and does not want to create a separate TryLink for each one
CX use case, where a CS team can recommend different products based on what the shopper is interested in
First you'll want to ensure you have created a TryLink already:
Step 1: Obtain the TryLink Code
After you create a TryLink, you will notice that our TryLink functionality added this ?tng=...
at the end of the URL.
Step 2: Activate the TryLink
Take that appended text (?tng=....
) and you can add it to any URL, whether it is a dynamic URL or static URL, such as a product page URL. Just ensure that the products are actually eligible for TryNow.
For Klaviyo links, ensure that the TryLink is added after the main URL and before any additional parameters, if present.
๐ก TryNow Tip: Make sure that your CS team and styling team knows which products are eligible or not eligible for TryNow, or have them test the URL to make sure it is working properly.
Step 3: Applying the TryLink
Once you've appended the code to the product URL, share the modified link wherever you want customers to access the TryNow experience. This could be in customer service interactions, product specific emails, or any other use cases.
