Creating a TryLink for a specific product

Whether you are trying to incorporate TryNow into a styling use case or CX use case, you may want to offer the TryLink experience on a particular product to a shopper. This article walks you through how to do so.

First you'll want to ensure you have created a TryLink already:

Step 1: Obtain the TryLink Code

After you create a TryLink, you will notice that our TryLink functionality added this ?tng=... at the end of the URL.

Step 2: Activate the TryLink

Take that appended text (?tng=....) and you can add it onto any PDP of eligible TryNow products. Ensure that the TryLink is added after the main URL and before any additional parameters, if present.

๐Ÿ’ก TryNow Tip: Make sure that your CS team knows which products are eligible or not eligible for TryNow, or have them test the URL to make sure it is working properly.

Step 3: Applying the TryLink

Once you've appended the code to the product URL, share the modified link wherever you want customers to access the TryNow experience. This could be in customer service interactions, product specific emails, or any other use cases.

Creating a TryLink for your products provides a flexible method to seamlessly integrate TryNow functionality into your shopper's journey. This empowers them with the opportunity to try items at home, enhancing their experience without relying solely on discounts or promotions. Additionally, it contributes to a more robust customer support experience.
