Where Can You Format Content?

  • Main Feed & Other Communities – Ideal for updates, announcements, and multi-part messages

  • Chats (1:1, Spaces, Subspaces) – Use formatting to keep messages clear and actionable


Available Formatting Options

Bold – Emphasize key points, dates, or tasks
Italic – Add tone or clarify details
✅ • Bullet Points – Great for steps, lists, or shift notes


How to Format Text (Web)

  1. Click into the post or chat composer

  2. Use the formatting bar at the top of the message box

  3. Click the buttons to apply styles:

    • B = Bold

    • I = Italic

    • Lists = Bullet or numbered

    • = Clear formatting

Formatting applies to the text you type or highlight.


How Formatting Works on Mobile (Markdown)

On mobile, Uniteam supports Markdown formatting, so you can style your message by typing simple characters.

Supported Markdown Shortcuts:

  • **bold**bold

  • *italic*italic

  • - or * + space → • bullet point

  • 1. + space → numbered list

  • > text → blockquote

  • --- → horizontal line

Uniteam will automatically format your text when the message is posted or sent.
