Notifications Aren’t Working

If you’re not getting Uniteam notifications, it’s likely a settings issue. Here's how to check mobile, desktop, and PWA settings.

Updated over 5 months ago

🧼 TL;DR:

  • Make sure notifications are allowed for your browser or PWA

  • Stay logged in and keep tabs open when possible

  • Check your device settings too

📱 If You’re Using a Mobile Browser

Uniteam runs in your mobile browser, and notifications come from there.

✅ To fix:

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings

  2. Tap Notifications

  3. Find your browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.)

  4. Make sure notifications are ON

  5. Refresh Uniteam and allow notifications when prompted

📲 If You Installed Uniteam as a PWA (Progressive Web App)

If you’ve added Uniteam to your home screen, you’re likely using our PWA version.

✅ To get notifications:

  • Make sure your browser (Chrome or Safari) allows notifications

  • Go to Settings > Notifications > Uniteam and toggle notifications ON

  • Stay logged in and keep the app active in the background

💻 If You’re on Desktop

  1. Click the lock icon in your browser’s address bar

  2. Set Notifications to Allow

  3. Refresh the page after updating settings

Also check:

  • You’re actively logged in

  • Your browser tab isn’t muted

  • You’re not in Do Not Disturb or Focus mode

👀 Still Not Working?

Check for:

  • Blocked permissions in your browser

  • Recently cleared cookies or cache

  • A VPN or firewall that may block push notifications

  • Needing to log back into the app

💡 Pro Tip:

Install Uniteam as a PWA for the best experience—especially on mobile.
Example: You’ll get faster load times, easier access, and more reliable notifications when it’s pinned to your home screen.
