🧼 TL;DR:

Admins can distribute Giveable or Redeemable points to users—either once or on a schedule (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly).

🔄 What Is Point Distribution?

Point distribution is how Admins fund recognition and rewards for their teams.

You decide:

  • The type of point to distribute

  • Who receives it

  • How much they get

  • How often it repeats (or if it’s one-time only)

🟦 Two Types of Points

Giveable Points

These are meant for peer recognition. Recipients can send them to others via shoutouts in the feed or chat.

Use cases:

  • Monthly recognition budgets for managers

  • One-time peer-nominated bonus programs

  • Departmental contests or campaigns

Redeemable Points

These are directly available to the user for spending in the rewards shop. They cannot be shared or transferred.

Use cases:

  • Holiday or seasonal appreciation (e.g., “Thanks for a strong Q4!”)

  • New program launches or initiative completions

  • Unexpected thank-yous for going above and beyond

🔁 Distribution Types

  • One-Time: Great for specific events or campaigns

  • Recurring: Set to renew weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly

You can run multiple distributions at once, customized by role, region, or group.

👥 Example: Role-Based Distributions

Role

Monthly Giveable Points

Quarterly Redeemable Points

Store Manager

2,000 ($20)

5,000 ($50)

District Manager

5,000 ($50)

10,000 ($100)

💡 Pro Tip:

Use redeemable points to reward moments that matter—like completing a major store reset or launching a new campaign.
Example: “Everyone involved in the new display rollout gets 1,000 points to treat yourself!”
