Understanding Notifications in Uniteam

Uniteam notifications work like an inbox—you control what’s read. Nothing auto-clears, so you don’t miss what matters.

Updated over 5 months ago

TL;DR:
Notifications act like an inbox—nothing auto-clears. You’ll get alerts for tags, replies, recognitions, and reactions, so nothing slips through the cracks.

📥 What You’ll Get Notified About

Uniteam keeps things focused—you’ll get a notification when:

  • You’re @mentioned in a Chat or Feed

  • Someone replies to your message in a Chat or Feed

  • Someone reacts to your message or post

  • You’ve been recognized by a teammate

📝 Note: You won’t receive notifications for new posts in Feeds unless you’re tagged. Broader post notifications are in the works.

🧭 Why Notifications Don’t Auto-Clear

Uniteam’s system works like an inbox—notifications stay visible until you choose to clear them. This helps:

  • Avoid missing key moments

  • Save messages you want to revisit

  • Stay in control of your attention

🧠 Pro Tip

If you're short on time, mark important notifications as unread so you can respond when it works for you.
