High-level overview of the Shipments page in Lister

Overview

Upright Lister's Shipments Manager allows you to create, track and manage shipments.

The Shipments Manager shows a complete history of shipping label costs, tracking numbers, and details on which users packed and created the shipment. If an order is associated with a shipment, there’ll be a link to view that order.

You can also file Shipsurance claims from the shipments page.

How to Find the Shipments Manager

The Shipments page is accessed by clicking the shipping box icon in Lister's top-right navigation menu.

Note that depending on your user role within Lister, you may not have access to the Shipments page.


Overview of the Shipments Manager

The Shipments page has seven tools to manage your shipments. This section briefly outlines each tool, followed by an explanation of each one.

  1. Search - Scan or type an Order ID, tracking number, or EasyPost ID number to pull up a list of shipments.

  2. More Filters Tool - Additional tools to narrow search results

  3. Sort Tool - Various options such as date and label cost for displaying search result order

  4. Actions Menu - Common workflow single or bulk actions

  5. Export - Download shipments in .csv format for a given date range

  6. More Actions - Additional actions to create USPS Scan Forms or Canada Post Scan Forms, open Easypost’s website or file a claim with Shipsurance

  7. New Shipment - Create a new shipping label for an order or create a shipping label without an order

  8. Search Results - Shows all shipments with links to view labels, orders, and file Shipsurance claims


How to Search for a Shipment

Use the search bar to enter an Order ID, tracking number, or EasyPost ID to pull up matching results.

  1. Search Field - Enter an Order ID, tracking number, or EasyPost ID into the search box and hit enter on your keyboard or the search button

  2. Results - The total matching results will display in the right column


How to Use the More Filters Tool

Clicking the “More Filters” button opens a side menu tool with additional filters for shipments. These filters are convenient for reviewing specific shipments, such as reviewing a user's shipments they have packed or created or via a specific date range.

  1. Channel - Filter your results to display shipments from a specific marketplace

  2. Created between - Displays shipments created between two dates

  3. Created by - Shows shipments created by a certain user

  4. Packed by - Shows shipments packed by a certain user

  5. Carrier - Filter your results to a specific carrier used for delivery


How to Sort Shipments

Clicking the Sort menu allows you to organize your search results in ascending or descending order based on selected criteria.

  • Date - Organize the shipments list from oldest to newest or vice versa

  • Label Cost - Sort results based on label cost by highest to lowest or vice versa


How to Use the Actions Menu

To open the actions menu, click on any of the checkboxes on the left side of the shipment entries. This will reveal the action menu above the search results:

  • Request Refunds - Refunds the selected shipping labels if they have not been scanned by the carrier


How to Use the Export Tool

Clicking the “Export” button at the top of the Shipments page will open a pop-up box to download a .csv file of all shipments created within a given date range.


How to Use the More Actions Menu

Clicking the More Actions menu at the top of the Shipments page reveals a dropdown menu for additional actions:


How to Use the New Shipment Tool

The New shipment button redirects you to the new shipment page, where you initiate the packing or shipping process by scanning or entering the Channel Order ID or the SKU of a product within the order. A shipment can also be created that is not attached to an order.


Overview of Search Results

The Shipments page search results display every shipment sent from Lister. Each row details information about the shipment, including the shipment’s carrier and date created.

  1. Shipment - Contains the carrier logo, the tracking number, shipment ID, and link to view the label

  2. User - Displays the usernames of the users who created and packed the shipment

  3. Date - Displays the date when the label was created

  4. Order - Contains the order number associated with the shipment, including a link to view the order

  5. Insurance - Displays any Shipsurance insurance coverage associated with the order, including a link to file an insurance claim

  6. Fee - Displays the total of any insurance costs associated with the shipment

  7. Label Cost - Contains the label cost associated with the shipment
